The work is part of his first ever published print series, which included 6 iconic screenprints, all untitled. The series itself was also published without a title. As his first series, it includes some of Haring&#8217;s most iconic motifs, from barking dogs, humanoid figures, television sets, and UFOs.<\/p>\n<p>Beware the media, Haring implies. Keenly aware of the constantly growing power of media in an ever-advancing technological age, Haring was persistent in his artistic warnings to consume media with discernment. Using barking dogs to represent the media\u2019s relationship with legislation, the physical domination of an isolated human figure demonstrates an authoritarian hold on the media society consumes. A quote from Haring further illuminates the scene: \u201cTechnology is moving faster, perhaps, than we can keep up with.
